Artist

Art has always been a part of my life as a way of creative expression, of life improvement and self-induced therapy. Art was always my source of wonder and wander, my go-to recipe to feel better or let all those feelings free. I didn't follow an art school, but I am a very skilled self-learner and overall curious person who wants to do a bit of EVERYTHING.

Therefore, my artistic journey is a kaleidoscope of modalities of work and an ever-growing collection of things that inspired me in my personal journey, things I created for me or my friends and sometimes things I did in a work project (especially for the event-organizing part of my life)

Some of my artworks and projects on display here are for sale. I recently came across a principle in sales that truly resonated with me, therefor most of the things I make or offer up for sale shall be under this:

DND - Deal or no Deal - You like it, you propose a price (via email/phone) - I agree or not, no hard feelings

If you like me to do an art project for you, I am open for collaborations and I will offer you a quotation for anything I can do...if it's out of my range of skills or artistic vision, I might still help you find someone else.

For the world of children

Since I became a mother I started creating many things for my child and the children of my beloved friends. If you like what I made and want me to do something similar for your kid, to offer you counsel or to get something from me to offer it as a gift, reach out and ask for a quotation.

  • I paint walls (scenery, clouds and sunsets, moon etc)

  • I make personalized name garlands

  • I made some birth inspired artworks

  • Some of my other artworks are child-room-appropriate

  • with my husband we made the furniture for our kid

  • I organized/did decorations for baptisms or kid parties

My colouring journey

As both an artist and psychologist with quite a few therapeutic-art tools in my "healing bag", I used and taught others how to approach coloring in a more meaningful, mindful way. It's one of my dearest leisure activities and I would love to inspire others to acquire this hobby as well.

  • I host art sessions for small groups

  • I made an e-book for you to color with your kid

  • I turned some coloring book pages in art for the wall

  • I help you understand color theory and color-based energy dynamics in art, fashion and psychology.

Mixed media projects

Mixed media is a sweet spot for me given the freedom to use and combine materials and modalities and come up with weird new things.

I love it and live for the challenge and the thrill I get when a new idea hits me and my fingers ache to get to work ASAP. Actually, that might be my neurospicy brain with ADHD tendencies, but still.

So, you will find mixed media in many of my artworks.

Forever in love with flowers

If it wasn't obvious until now, I LOVE flowers.

I love wild medicine-flower bouquets I pick up and dry into tea as much as I love making bouquets for my home and events. I love painting them real or imagined, construct them with various materials or re-create their essence and magic in poetry and literature.

I love buying flowers on a Friday to make my home pretty or gift people bouquets I made.

I have some dear friends I collaborate with for flowers an decorations for events and various gatherings. We only did my wedding and a few other family events, but we could do yours too.

  • I made flower arrangements for special occasions and family-events

  • I did flower inspired artworks

  • I host art sessions with flower inspirations

  • I sometimes organize Arts & English workshops with an English teacher friend

Embellish & transform

I started fashion related activities when I was 7 years old and over my childhood I learned sewing, fashion design, pattern making, embroidery and various embellishment techniques. I was an avid fashion sketch drawer, but my luck literally kept me away from Fashion Design school, and for a GOOD reason - It broke my heart then, but after a while I realized I never belonged there.

I don't belong to a fast-fashion market, I don't belong to mindless fashion consumption....after a decade of not touching anything fashion-related, I started repairing that part of myself and looked inside to what belongs to me. So, in my fashion projects, you will likely find:

  • my love for natural fabrics and beautiful patterns

  • my fantasy-world, mystic lover aesthetic

  • my collection of items I bought and rarely wore, but really think they are precious and need a new owner

  • sketches, sketches, sketches

  • hand-painted or manually embellished items

  • unique pieces I crafted out of old garments

  • fashion illustrations I do for my novel's characters

My traditional artworks

As a life-long self-taught individual I taught myself how to paint with watercolors, acrylics, oils, pastels and honestly I'm a low key hoarder of art supplies I barely get time to use to their maximum potential.

I'm not a pro at any of the above, but I find it particularly rewarding to dive heads on in a new medium, explore and test it until my ideas are satisfyingly rendered.

I've likely told you already I see art like a foreign language and I'm more of a person who would love to know how to chat in many languages rather than master only one.

Seasonal endeavours

Celebrations and holidays are very important to me and even if I don't follow them in a very church-like way, I always hold those that are dear to my heart in ways my soul remembers. Even if I was born in a Christian orthodox country, I never stopped at the dogma I received in school/church and I went deep into studying the pre-christian and ancient celebrations people held, their origin, meaning and evolving traditions, I researched the traditions of the most notorious other religions and of the groups that have severely influenced the part of the world I live in.

This is a collection of seasonal decorations and objects that have meaning for the holidays I celebrate with my family or friends.

String theory

Call it macrame work, fiber art, whatever you wanna call it, sometimes braiding and knotting and stitching stuff heals your soul in such a way that no other art does. Don't trust my words, try it.

At one point in history I'll have you know that tapestry and macrame-like works were not just art, were actually encoded messageries that had their own little way of representing ideas through knots and strings. I find that amazing and inspiring.

Sometimes, when I play with threads I make a wall-piece, a hat hanger, a dreamcatcher or just random decorations.
