Am I a fairy godmother for your
Events?
For a restless, easily-bored creative individual like your truly, working in events and hospitality has been a blessing....an endless source to do nice stuff for people, to create and orchestrate meaningful gatherings and add a touch of magic to these happenings that turn the tide from another check in a social list to an unforgettable occurrence.
I'm not saying all the events I've worked for or have been part of have been memorable, but if you were blessed enough to attend one of those I create for my friends and family, I'm pretty sure you made some "core" memories there. And I live for that, to know I played a part in making your life meaningful, beautiful and fun.
What kind of event business am I still up to?
1. I create my own private events you might or might not get invited to or share online.
2. I am up to help you organize your own if we vibe and I like what you're up to.
3. I can lend you my decorations and equipment for your event - via my NGO
4. I can share knowledge and experience from my own eventful life.
5. I can be your paid helper for an event where you need a creative, hard working woman who knows how to problem-solve like a fairy godmother and can manage more than one role at a time.
6. I provide tips, tricks and info I gathered from all the various events I've been a part of.
An ode to private life
I believe what is meaningful and rich in personal wonder happens far from the public scrutiny, in small groups where soul stories are brought to life.
I make sure to have that in my life as often as I can...and I wish the same on everyone else. Even if I'm not part of it.
So I'll leave you with a gallery of moments and happenings I loved to create and if you want to create something similar and have no idea where to start or who to make it happen with, let me know. Ask for help and you'll get it.
Down the memory lane
I've worked years in an advertising agency. I did years of volunteering before and after, mostly for events. Then I moved into hospitality and got a whole new understanding of what a host should be like. Then I met my husband and our festival-life bloomed.
I have a treasure trove of good memories I look back to from all these years and all the things I learned and did...walk on this memory lane with me and see what I've been up to and what shaped me into who I am now.
